Artisan View Stained Glass

                      Dorothy Cline

Images captured in world travels as a Navy Photographer now inspire my unique dimensional panels, luminaries, and hair jewelry handmade with glass, recycled, and found natural metal materials. To pursue a passion for glass, I apprenticed with Zig Zeigler, a master of old and new world stained glass techniques. Long hours are spent to rebuild delicate, historic, antique lead came windows or massive modern new construction projects of heavy, richly colored, dalle de verre slab windows.

I draw original designs and handcraft with many different techniques and with technologies that span from lead came, foil, fused, and bending wire rods for construction. My work was selected to represent Kentucky Bluegrass Area Extension Cultural Arts exhibits, Lady Beshear's gallery in the Kentucky Capitol building and have been juried into the Kentucky Guild of Artists & Craftsmen for Glass & 3-D Mixed Media. I currently exhibit for sale at the  Ice House Art Gallery & the Scott County Arts & Cultural Center in Georgetown, Kentucky.
